Such a cute gift idea and adorable bday calendar
I have previously purchased 6 birthday calendars from Woodland Shanty (1 through Etsy, 5 directly from here) and I just purchased my 7th last week for a gift. Upon opening it, I noticed right away that the monthly hooks to hang the tags from are severely off center. A few of them are barely under the first letter of the month. I have never had this issue with the previous 6 that I have purchased. Upon reaching out to the company, they told me that the hooks are balanced on the frame, which is also debatable because they're not centered on the frame either - the first hook is a half inch closer to the edge of the frame than the last one, and it's obvious. The sign itself is in great shape and a pretty design. I'm just a little disappointed with the hook placement and the response I received when I expressed my concern.
It is beautiful. high quality, matched the description, and met my expectations! The only tiny issue is that to hang it there is just a wire on the back that is attached from one end of it to the other. Since, apparently we have more birthdays at the beginning of the year (therefore it is heavier on that side) it kind of leans more toward that side, I just have to manually readjust it. But that's not a biggie, I'm sure if it becomes a problem we can add something to it so that it will sit leveled.
Purchased for my mother and she loved putting all the children, grandchildren and animals on it!
